Floridians who are fans of “Criminal Minds” might be interested in learning about a lawsuit that was recently filed against the show’s production studio and network. The lawsuit was filed by a camera operator who has alleged that a supervisor subjected him to sexual harassment from the time that he was hired in 2011 until 2019.
According to the plaintiff, he began working on the show as a second assistant cameraman in 2011. He alleges that the director of photography engaged in a longstanding pattern of touching him sexually two to three times per week. The plaintiff also alleges that the supervisor would scream at him, threaten him with termination and threaten him with demotion. He further claims that the supervisor prevented him from being promoted.
The plaintiff alleges that other employees who complained about sexual harassment by the supervisor were fired from their jobs in retaliation for their complaints. In addition to sexual harassment, the plaintiff is also suing for discrimination, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress and retaliation.
